Gracias a Dios

Sometimes God amazes me … well, actually more than sometimes.  After thinking that Yadith would not be able to come and visit me (because she was unable to get a meeting at the Embassy), and the possibility that the I couldn’t go to Colombia God just opens a door.

The third day she calls the embassy, she gets the same answer, that no other appointments are available.  While she was canceling the appointment for late July another miraculously appeared for June 27th.

I guess I have to sit back and think now … Did I have such little faith that I worried about this?  Did I think God couldn’t take care of it?  hmmm

Chiropractors

Ahh, it’s good to be back here and go back to my chiropractor!!  After days of suffering I finally went to my chiro and found great relief, not to mention some good conversation.

Just one more advantage of being back in civilization … lol.

Visas

I discovered something really interesting today – the fact that so many of us take travel for granted.  The fact that as an American I can travel to so many places without giving thought to “getting permission.”  It also brought to light the difficulty so many other people face throughout the world in visiting the US.

Why is it possible that an Embassy can just decide that they don’t want to have any more interviews for a month?  Why do people get hit with outrageous charges and paperwork?  I can understand investigations, etc. But I think it’s now ridiculous.

It has become personal now; having a fiance in another country brings so much to light that I never saw before.  How difficult it is!

Power, power, power

Wow, after all these years and all the technology available, PECO still takes 12 hours to get power back after a thunder storm.  Hmmm, very interesting!

Well, I guess I didn’t have to spend the night working on a project, and had to spend a romantic candlelit evening … all by myself … lol.
